From September 13th to September 16th, 2011, experts from the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS), including Zhou Yi, went to the technical center laboratory and conducted a three-day CNAS accreditation site review for the technical center laboratory. In the course of on-site review of any field by the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment, none of the cases were directly evaluated on-site, and some non-conformities were issued. The non-conformity items issued after the on-site assessment of the Chaochai Laboratories were far below the average level. At the final meeting of the assessment, the experts of the National Accreditation Council highly appreciated the system operation of the laboratory and congratulated the successful passing of the on-site review. The assessment team believes that the technical center laboratory is excellent in software and hardware construction, meticulous and rigorous work, detailed data records, and good testing capability and internal quality assurance system. A one-time confirmation of the ability to declare tests including emission tests, performance tests, reliability tests, noise tests, crankshaft fatigue tests, etc., was conducted in the laboratory, and the test results of diesel engines, vehicles, and engine parts were internationally verified in the Chaochai Laboratories. Laboratory accreditation is currently the internationally accepted system for the evaluation and formal recognition of the management and technical capabilities of testing and calibration laboratories. After recognition, the Chaochai Laboratories has the technical ability to carry out testing services according to internationally recognized standards on the basis of improving its own management and testing standards.
