The electric vehicle battery exchange station on Songjiang Road in Yancheng City was recently completed and put into trial operation. This is the first fully automatic battery replacement station for electric passenger cars in China.
The station can provide automatic and quick replacement of chassis battery boxes for electric passenger cars. A power change can be completed within 3 minutes, with a daily service capacity of 288 vehicles. Compared with the common side charging, the chassis battery box is waterproof and dustproof, with real-time insulation, leakage, temperature, smoke detection and other functions; the chassis battery box has a large space, which can effectively extend the mileage.
