Why mass flow meter is better than volumetric one?
1. Mass flow meter is more accurate and stable, because it measures the mass(weight) directly, and mass does not vary by temperature, pressure, etc., but volume does.
2. There is no moving part inside mass flow meter; it is maintenance free; however, the volumetric meter wears out a lot, which causes bad accuracy.
3. Mass flow meter measures not only the flow rate, but also density & temperature at the same time, and it also can communicate with control system through RS485 protocol.
