Michelin Indonesia Joint Venture rubber plant will start construction
At the beginning of March 2016, sources stated that the Michelin Tire Company started to plan the start-up of the joint venture rubber factory in Indonesia.

It is understood that the rubber plant is located in Silegon, Indonesia, with a planned production capacity of 120,000 tons and an overall project investment of 400 million pounds (about 3.7 billion yuan).
It is reported that the general contractor of the rubber project is Tong Yiou Engineering Company.
The rubber factory is controlled by Michelin with 55% and a local synthetic rubber company with 45%. It plans to invest in the factory in 2018.
