Russia developed a laser alcohol detector, it is difficult to escape by driving a car with 150 km/h

The harm of drunk driving is self-evident, all countries in the world attach great importance to the fight against drunk driving. Recently, Russia has developed a new type of "bud" laser alcohol detector that can deal with these problems. Because the alcohol detector can detect vehicles with a speed of 150 kilometers per hour at a distance of 25 meters, each time it takes 0.1 seconds, the Russian traffic police is expected to deploy money at the end of the year.

It sounds very magical. This is the strength of modern science and technology. New detectors do not need to be exhaled by the testers or draw blood as traditional alcohol detectors. Instead, as long as it emits a laser beam, it can penetrate the windshield and directly detect the air alcohol content in the car. If the amount of alcohol in the air in the car exceeds one millionth, the instrument will sound an alarm.

This will not only improve the efficiency of the traffic police, but also respond to all kinds of unexpected situations. Even if the owner does not cooperate with the inspection, he can work normally. However, this new type of laser-alcohol detector is relatively expensive, and the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs spent 24,600,000 rubles (about 5.14 million yuan) on the contract with St. Petersburg's "Laser Systems" company for the development of this tester last year. In this way, the single unit of each detector reaches about 300,000 rubles. This price has brought some obstacles to the promotion and the large number of equipment for traffic police.
