Sales of Changan Automobiles and Jiangling Motors both rose in April

Chang'an Automobile and Jiangling Motors also issued April sales and sales bulletins. Both companies' monthly sales volume has increased to varying degrees.
The production and sales report released by Changan Automobile showed that the company sold 117,846 vehicles in total in April, an increase of 50.59% year-on-year; Changan Ford Mazda Automobile Co., Ltd. sold a total of 25,882 vehicles, an increase of 32.99% year-on-year. From the beginning of the year till now, the company has sold 415,594 vehicles in total, an increase of 22.26% over the same period of last year. The number of cars produced this month was 117,729, an increase of 22.61% year-on-year; the cumulative production of cars was 386,558, an increase of 9.17% year-on-year.

According to the sales and sales news released by Jiangling Motors, the company sold 10,140 vehicles in April, an increase of 0.47% year-on-year; this year, it accumulated sales of 34,391 units, an increase of 1.51% over the same period last year. Among them, Ford brand commercial vehicles sold a total of 2,335 vehicles this month, a year-on-year decrease of 13.42%; JMC brand trucks sold 5,326 units, an increase of 19.82% year-on-year; JMC brand pickups and SUVs sold 2,479 units, a year-on-year decrease of 15.99%. In April, the company produced 10,469 vehicles in total, a year-on-year decrease of 17.38%; from the year-to-date, it produced a total of 33,321 vehicles, a year-on-year decrease of 4.30%.
