Urumqi requires 32 companies to limit pollution control
The Urumqi City Environmental Protection Bureau recently imposed a deadline on 32 companies such as PetroChina Urumqi Petrochemical Company, requiring 32 companies to submit pollution control plans to the Urumqi Municipal Government before June 15th, and complete pollution control tasks by September 15.
The person in charge of the Urumqi Environmental Protection Bureau pointed out that in order to promote these 32 companies to complete pollution control tasks on schedule, the Urumqi municipal government will earmark 50 million yuan this year for special funds to reward enterprises that have completed pollution control tasks on time; The mission's enterprises will be punished severely, and at the same time suspend all their environmental protection examination and approval procedures; for those with serious circumstances, they will also be ordered to close down.
