Changchai's new common rail EFI "green diesel engine" was successfully ignited at the Changchao National Technology Center on August 30. This is the first diesel engine successfully developed by Changchai to meet Euro III emission standards.
According to reports, the new "green diesel engine" has the advantages of low emission, low fuel consumption, low noise, high reliability, stable operation, etc., and has the potential to upgrade emissions to Euro IV. Changchai has independent intellectual property rights and masters core technologies. It was fully put into production in 2008. At the same time, the total investment of 160 million yuan in Changchai 300,000 Euro III multi-cylinder diesel engine technical transformation project (Phase I) project, has completed the installation of all equipment. Up to now, 24 models in Changzhou have passed the US EPA non-road emission certification, and 17 models have passed the EU EC certification, and have a green pass to enter the European and American markets.
