Establishment of Innovative Scientific Instrument Development Technical Service Center of Chinese Academy of Sciences

Recently, the Inauguration Ceremony of the Chinese Academy of Sciences Innovative Scientific Instrument Development Technical Service Center (hereinafter referred to as the Technical Service Center) was held in Kekei. Leaders of the Planning Finance Bureau of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, members of the Management Committee of the Technical Service Center, and relevant persons in charge of the Chinese Science Section attended the meeting.

The Chinese Academy of Sciences’ innovative scientific instrument research and development service center was set up in the first half of 2009 in accordance with the Implementation Plan of the Chinese Academy of Sciences Technical Support System Construction. The main purpose of the center is to make full use of the technological superiority of Kekei Instrument in the development of instruments and equipment, and to combine the technical strengths of relevant units of the Chinese Academy of Sciences to provide technical program consulting, engineering design, complete machine integration and installation and debugging for scientific and technical personnel engaged in scientific instrument development. The service work has enabled scientists to rapidly realize innovative ideas in the development of instruments and equipment. At present, the center has built a public service website, formed an expert and technical team, matched the corresponding design software, formulated a management approach, and held the establishment of the conference, marking that the center has officially entered the operational service phase from the preparatory establishment process.
